Nothing tells receivers which servers may send as example.com. Your legitimate mail arrives unvouched, far likelier to be filtered, and anyone can put your domain on the envelope of theirs.
How to fix it
Publish one TXT record at example.com listing every service that sends your mail, then close it: v=spf1 include:_spf.yourprovider.com ~all
